Thanks for sharing this. Along with Sfard's metaphor's of acquisition and participation, it's a really useful way of thinking about connected learning.

As you might tell, I'm 'immersed in the discourse' of my 'socially-situated learning', at least as far as I can tell: I've just finished the H800 ECA and the MAODE. Your work has been useful there, too - cheers
